Ms. Bhanu Vig has had a diversified career of over 35 years in the Hospitality Industry. She is a first division pass out of IHM Mumbai and started her career in 1986 with Ashok Group of Hotels as Management Trainee. She worked at various managerial positions in star category hotels till she took VRS in 2002 when she was at a level of Executive Manager. She has worked as Manager with Union Public Service Commission and Delhi Secretariat directly under the Chief Minister, Delhi Ms. Sheila Dixit. In 2004 she joined Amity University and started her academics career as a Senior Lecturer. She became founder Principal of Chandigarh College of Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Landran Mohali, in 2005 and made a state of art College which is one of its kind in Punjab. Since then till 2014, she has been the founder Principal of three colleges and gave consultancy to two more colleges.

                   She has been the Chairperson of Board of studies for Hotel Management and Airline services, with Punjab Technical University and has been instrumental in upgrading the curriculum of B.Sc. HMCT and B.Sc. ATHM (Airlines tourism and hospitality management). During her academic career she did Masters in Tourism Management from Madurai Kamaraj University and MBA in Human Resource Management from Punjab Technical University. In 2014 she decided to come back to hotels and joined ITC Fortune Hotels as Training Manager for a year till she was selected as Principal, IHM Kurukshetra. Now, she has been transferred from IHM Kurukshetra to IHM Yamunanagar.
